I am privileged to present the annual report 2020-2021 and I proudly announce that as a school we have made a place for ourselves across the globe. We rejoice in the success that we have achieved. We wish to correct the short comings of the past and try to fare better in the future. Today we look forward with a sense of hope, towards greater growth and progress. We are proud to acknowledge that we had good achievements, co-curricular and extracurricular activities this year. I proudly place before you the achievements of our students in this Annual Report.

Shantiniketan School is a combination of the best staff, faculty, infrastructure and curriculum with an effort to provide a holistic learning and development of children, right from their formative years to maturity. SNS is built on the rock of hard work, community ethics and a philosophy to garner a generation of role models and pioneers. The rich experience of the management can be stated as we started the littlescholar’s school way back in 1990 followed byShantiniketanbrand, which was established under KPR memorial educational academy in the year 1999 with 17 students in the first year. After that there was no looking back and subsequently we established twoother branches with 700 students presently in our ShantiniketanVidyalaya which is awarded as the best residential School in the state by Times of India. The Branch in Kamareddy was established in the year 2010 and coming to the Shantiniketan School at Sanikpuri, the school has been started from nursery to VIII in the year 2017 with CBSE curriculum with 50 students, now it has 530 Students and the count is still on.

Primary School report: The Primary School in SNS is flourishing under the abled coordinator ship of Ms.MadhaviMutiyala.She has anexperience in implementing primary curriculum for the last 10 years. She has attended many national and international workshops, and firmly believes that Education is preparing students for life.

Secondary

The abled leadership skills of Mr N V R Chary is instrumental in the smooth functioning of the Secondary department. He is a Post graduate in Mathematics and has authored two Mathematics book for the graduation level students. He has more than 20 years of experience in national and international curriculum. He is a certified trainer in IGCSE and A level Mathematics.. We follow the CBSE curriculum in Secondary. We also proudly announce that we have also received the CBSE affiliation and our first batch of Grade X will be appearing their board exams in March/April 2021

In the year 2018-19, SNIS has set a curriculum for Spoken English under the supervision of Ms Deepti. Students from PP2 onwardsare trained to enhance their communication skills using the wordsworth language lab. We have also started the Robotics and steam classes for our students from grade 1 onwards. This is an effort from our side to enhance the critical thinking skills of our students

Reading is an activity that involves greater levels of concentration and adds to the conversational skills of the reader. It is an indulgence that enhances the knowledge acquired, consistently. The continuous process of enhancing the reading skills of the students were further strengthened in the “Buddy reading” project in Kindergarten and the celebration of “one nation reading day” in Primary and secondary in the month of November. The library at SNS is now equipped with 10,000 books to support our reading programme.

Anything we do, we do it as Professional to Professional standards.The teachers at SNS attended various national and international trainings to enhance their skills. Teachers underwent 15 days of rigorous training based on general and subject topics in the month of May and June. Trainers of national and international repute were invited to train our facilitators. Ms Liza and MsSnajana member of JODO GYAN trained all primary teachers on making the class rooms more active..Ms Maria Basu, trainer from CBSE was invited to train the secondary teachers about the implementation of curriculum and assessment procedures.MrDevi Prasad, MrAlexendar, MsNirmala, MsSoumya, Ms Rajeshwere sent for regional subject based CBSE training.

At SNS we organize various trainings and activities for our students to enhance their confidence level. Activities like subject exhibition, hobby showcase, coffee mornings were organized to involve parents in assessments and also to enhance the confidence of students. This talks about the essential skills like communication, self management, social, thinking and research skills within our students.

Our smiles in SNS go a long way in making people feel happy and the celebration of Grandparents day was an effort made by us to bridge the generation gap and to build to the apostolate of older people among people of their own ageand learn from their experiences. As an effort to foster Internationalism we go beyond the food, festival, flags, famous people and fashion and make our students feel that the world has gone into the making of our learning, and that our learning prepares them for a global workplace and global issues in the future. The food festivals, celebration of national and international festivals, profile day, learning about currency, time, stampage of the countries round the word, global issues combined with the openness of our school community to accept each one with their differences are few flavors of SNS adding to the taste of internationalism. Skill enhancement programme at SNIS Kindergarten like set your Table, Dress myself, read and Review and programmes like Interview skills, MUN were organized to enhance the self-management skills and confidence of SNS Scholars.

Strenuous exercise and interest in games is an outlet for the vigor of youth. Ample opportunities were provided to our children to play and prove their mettle in various sports and games at school, cluster, regional and national level competitions. The Sport department is flourishing under the guidance of Mr Vishal kumar. SNS offers a wide range of sports activities like cricket,BasketBall,volleyball,Badminton,MiniSoccar,MiniHocket,Karate and all kinds of indoor games. All our students participated in Various competitions and got an opportunity to inculcate sportsmanship within them.This year we have achieved 22 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 4 bronze medals in various inter-SchoolCompetitions.

he School has opted for NSO,NCO,IMO, and IEO for the Science Olympiad foundation and our snisians have come in flying colours.KarthikGuntla of grade 6 CAIE, JiyaGarg from 7 CBSE, AalyaDeorari from 8 CBSE Have won glold medals in 8 CBSE. NehaAkella has attained distinction in English Olympiad and qualified herself for the second round. KarthikGunta of 6 CAIE ,DaksheshShukla of 7 CAIE, AdityaRampally have won gold medals in IEO. Our A level students have appreared for As level exams and results are awaited in later January 2020.From Primary School, Neerav Reddy of Grade 1, Ipshitha of Grade 2, Aarit Bhattacharya of grade 3 Shahithi of grade 4, Aaishwaya B of grade 5 have won gold medal in IEO, DishaSemwal of grade 1,Shreyas of Grade 2,Aarit Bhattacharya of grade 3, PratheekSahoo of Grade 4 and AaishwaryaBatri of grade 5 have won gold medals in NSO. We also congratulate Saanvi of grade 1 for getting the zonal excellence and medal of distinction in NSO examinations. We also conducted the State level French examination and our students came out with flying colours. In level 1,AasrithaSekhar of 5A begged the 1st place . K. Bhavana of grade 6 CAIE received the 2nd place and AnaghaSukla of 6 CBSe received the 3rd place. In level 2,KoripelleTanrika of 8 CAIE begged the 1stPrize,Vishubhanantha of 7 CBSE received the 2nd prize and Prathima of 7 CBSE received the 3rdPrize.We congratulate all the winners. In Sports, Our scholars have displayed good sportmenship and brought us laurels. To name a few, P Vaibhav of grade 2, begged the 1st place in inter- School skating competition and in the skating tournament held at Global International School. He also received the 2nd Position in youth roller skating competition. Palakshi of grade 6 won the second place in Talent search skating competition. Master Rahul of Grade 5 won the 1stpostion in breast stroke ad free style 25 mts swimming competition organized by Cambridge network School. Ritishreddy also begged the gold medal, in the senior category, Free style swimming competition organized by Cambridge Network Schools,YTanuj of grade 11 and R, Anirvinya received the second and third position in the Senior category swimming competition organized by Cambridge School community. Ritish Reddy of grade 12 also received 2 silvers in under 17 and under 19 district level badminton competition held at Siddhipet.He has also qualified for under 19 singles and doubles state main draw.Pooja of grade 11 received a silver medal in district level badminton competition held at district level.PAkshit ofgarde 5 won a gold medal in inter- School Karate championship. ShivamAgarwal of PP2 received a bronze medal in Artistic Gymnastic in inter- School level.KSasvat of PP2 won a third place in State level chess competition. K shreyas of Grade 2 won the first place in State level chess competition. Four SNIS scholars Aftab of grade 11, Divyansh of grade 11, Manikiran of grade 9 and Aakrish of grade 8 are selected for Hyderabad Cricket Association One Day league.

It not just Academics and Sports our only concern. Expression in the form of music, dance and playing instrument are modes to ease stress. As part of the hobby programme conducted in the school we showcase various categories of creative activities. To enable students to excel their previous standards, competitions are held from time to time. Students at SNS are encouraged towards Hobbies like Western Dance, Keyboard, Guitar, Classical Dance, Congo Drums, etc. under the abled leadership of Mr Sishil

In the field of Literary competitions , Our Scholars have brought laurels to us in different categories. To name a few; AishwariyaBatri of grade 5 received the second prize in inter- School Poetry recitation,Bhoomika of grade 8 received 2nd Prize in Inter- School solo drama competition, AnivinyaRampally of Grade 11, Received the 3rd Prize in inter- SchoolSolo instrumental competition, SivsaiIndeveer of Grade 8 CBSe received the 1st Prize in inter- School English debate competition, Aalya of Grade 8 CBSE and Nayanika Reddy of Grade 9 CBSE received the 2nd and 3rd prize in the inter- School Pot painting competition.Annaya of grade 8 CBSE and Ruchir of grade 9 CBSE received the 2nd and 3rd prize in the inter- School Still- Art competition. 10 SNIS Scholars received the 2nd Prize in inter- School group dance competition organized at Ivy league

We are proud to announce that SNS has been awarded as the emerging School of South India by Edtech Review, India. It is also awarded as the best holistic education International K12 School in Telengana by India Education awards 2018. It fills my heart with pride as I take this opportunity to share with you that SNIS has also been placed in the first three position as the Emerging School in Telengana by Times Survey conducted by Times of India.We have also been shortlisted for best International School by Rethink India.

The Transport department is under the leadership of MrVinod . We have improvised several system to maintain the safety and security of the students. Regular workshops and trainings for the drivers and lady assistants are conducted to make them sensitive about the issues so that they become responsible and lovable.

I convey my whole hearted thanks to all my team members, students without whose dedication, hardwork this school won’t have been like this and I also thank all the Parents for their continuous support and cooperation. We take this opportunity to commit ourselves to do our best to serve this locality through quality education.
